On this cold day at Christmas my true love gave to me, a new pre-lit artificial tree. That's what I woke up to. And not too long later, Tiger assumed her position as the guardian of the tree. At 11 inches, 13 pounds, she is the keeper of the Christmas tree. When she and her sister Lily were freshly rescued from the animal shelter about 7 years ago, Tiger claimed the tree her first Christmas. Tiger was so tiny that when she cried, no sound came out. But we would here a crystal bell ornament tinkle and find her climbing the branches. She slept under the tree. And Lily did, too. But Tiger slept in the tree.
