Intumesce is the new word of the day.   Okay here we go this is one of those words that you know or you don’t.  I’ve had this happen to me and I could not get rid of it so I had surgery to make it go away.  Sometimes I wished I hadn’t done it but I can’t turn back now.  So the meaning of (in’too mes’) is to swell, enlarge and expand as I did when I reached a 258 pound weight on my frame.

Misanthrope is the new word of the day. I tell you my wife is so darn smart.  I thought I had one so I called her and spelled the word she was so close I just hung up on her.  There are times I can get one by her but not often.  So why am I posting this I really don’t know but maybe some of you are like me and did not have a clue.  Anyway the meaning of (mis’en throp’) is a person how hates or distrusts all people.  I’ve seen a few in my day what say you?

Crapulence is the new word of the day. Well let us not jump to conclusions and don’t read anything into this word.  Unless you know its meaning it is not what you think.  Needless to say I’ve been there done that.  Not proud of it but it is now not on my bucket list and I really don’t want to do it again.  So without further adieu the meaning of (krap’loo lens) is sickness caused by excess in drinking or eating.  So have you been there?

Odious is the new word of the day. I know for sure in the past people have thought this about me.  In return I have thought this about some people I’ve dealt with.  I bet you have had the same experience maybe now or in your past.  Now here is the sad thing about this post I know I just know it will happen again as I know it will happen to you also. This is not saying it will happen about people but it could be anything from food, drink, clothing you name it there is no limit. The meaning of (o’de es) is arousing or deserving hatred or loathing; disgusting; offensive.  Now that you know the meaning what say you?

Atavistic is the new word of the day. Put on your thinking caps for this one.  I will give you one hint and it has to do with history but not necessarily recent history.  Do I have your curiosity peaked?  So I can’t really think of much to write about this subject so why try.  The meaning of (at’e tav’ ik) is father of a great-grandfather, ancestor an appearance in an individual of some characteristic found in a remote ancestor but not in nearer ancestors.

Jerkin is the new word of the day. This one is interesting.  I will tell you it has nothing to do with real estate but some of the fun words aren’t so care to take a guess?  I will tell you they have been around for a long time and are still being made and used today.  So let’s just get to it the meaning of (jur’kin) is a short, closefitting jacket, often sleeveless, or a vest, of a kind worn in the 16th and 17th century.

Languid is the new word of the day. Don’t know about you but the wife says I’m this from time to time.  I have to agree with her lately I just don’t have the energy I did a couple of months ago.  That was a hint so this one should be easy.  The meaning of (lan’gwid) is without vigor or vitality; drooping; weak.  Did you get it? Enjoy the day

Granolith is the new word of the day. Okay for some of you this one should be a given but I did not know this one.  That is one of the big reasons I do this so I can learn and hopefully you can also.  I will tell you this one is associated with real estate of almost any structure you want to talk about.  But in the end it is the owner’s choice.  So the meaning of (gran’o lith’) is a concrete used for flooring, pavement etc.  So did you get it?  Enjoy your day

Triptych is the new word of the day. I remember these in my younger days.  They were the state of the art back then.  In some places they may be still used.  Anyway if you can find one of these I’d like to take a look at it for old times’ sake.  Now the meaning of (trip’tik) is an ancient writing tablet of three leaves hinged together.  Yea those were the days.

Sepulchral is the new word of the day. Well no matter how you like you can avoid it this will happen.  It’s just a matter of time before it catches up with you.  For some it happens quickly and for others it takes a long, long time.  Personally I hope it doesn’t happen to me for a long time in the future.  The meaning of ( se pul’krel) is suggestive of the grave or burial; dismal; gloomy.  That is how some people view death.  I for one when it’s my time no condolences please but announce the Good News James is talking to the man and everything is right with the world.

I WANNA go home. Okay so they took out part of one of my kidneys removed my gall bladder and repaired a navel hernia.  They have me hooked up to a drainage hose with a bottle at the end of it.  I had a temperature of 102.8 last night so that’s why I’m still here.  I mean it’s just all in a days’ work isn’t it?  In real estate things happen we need to pull up our adult pants and take care of business like me.  You won’t see me throwing a temper tantrum I’m a big boy.

Glabrate is the new word of the day. I have this if you want to call it problem.  Personally I find it somewhat refreshing to have this issue.  Sorry that was a wrong usage of words because I don’t consider this an issue.  It does save me a bunch of money which is always a positive.  Anyway the meaning of (gla’brat) is to make smooth, deprive of hair.  Nothing else to say…

Maw is the new word of the day. I just don’t know where to begin with this one.  Most of you need to attend to this body part several times a day.  Now, now let’s not go there.  I’ve been writing ahead so I won’t have a mental block when it comes to writing a blog.  So here we go the meaning of (mo) is the stomach or its cavity.  Now aren’t you glad you didn’t go there.  This will be a two post day. This one is the first please look for the second one to follow shortly

Lupara is the new word of the day. Anyone have Italian heritage or background?  If so you should know this one for sure.  Its tradition goes back to that Country and often associated with the Cosa Nostra.  That boys and girls is what we call a hint.  So let’s just get to it and tell you the meaning of lupara is a sawn-off shotgun.  So you people from the Old Country did you get it right what say you?

Qualitatively is the new word of the day. I like this word I surely do.  This is what I like about it with just one word it speaks volumes to the one who reads it.  Beyond that it does even better by the person who lives by its meaning.  Which reminds me I guess you would like to know the meaning if you haven’t already guessed it.  The meaning of (kwol’I tat’iv kwal) has to do with quality or qualities.  So did you guess the meaning?

Puerile is the new word of the day. Well, well, well there have been times I’ve been this word and I’m sure it won’t be the last.  In fact everyone I know has at times shown this side of their personality.  There isn’t much more I can say about this word so the meaning of (pyoo’er il) is childish; silly; immature or trivial.  Want to tell me about it?  Just comment on it in the section provided.  I promise I will not tell anyone.

Infelicitous is the new word of the day. At times this comes my way and when it does I do not like it.  However this is life and things happen sometimes for a reason and other times one can’t explain it.  I know I just know it has happened to everyone who will read this post.  So the meaning of (in’fe lis’e tes) is unfortunate or unsuitable.  So now that you know the meaning tell me has it happened to you?

Imbibe is the new word of the day. So I can name a few of these off the top of my head and I’m included in those.  So I am proud sometimes to be associated with these but sometimes I’m not.  It just all depends on the day and how I feel.  Actually there are two meanings which I will concentrate on and the second one I’ll use is the one I’m most proud of.  The meaning of (im bib’) is to drink (esp. alcohol liquor) can we say been there done that but the second meaning we all should aspire to be so and that is to take into the mind and keep, as ideas and principles.

Sotto voce is the new word of the day. I know, I know its two words but they go together.  I was reading this book and saw it so I thought what the heck might as well give it a shot.  Actually it’s an old Irish proverb.  When you find out the meaning you may agree I know I do.  Sometimes the loudest is not always the best (hint).  So the meaning of (sat’o vo’che) is in an undertone, so as not to be overheard.  In other words one who whispers
