Ursiform is the new word of the day. Well here we go again.  Never knew this one existed until I was browsing my Webster’s® and came across this.  If you can tell the latter portion of the word is form if that give you a hint.  If it doesn’t than you’ll need to stick around for the meaning.  OK have I kept you in suspense long enough OK,OK the meaning of (ur’ se form’) is having the form or appearance of a bear.  Who would have thought it?  Enjoy the day

Dipsomania is the new word of the day. I’ve known so many people who have this problem and I’ll bet most of you know at least one person who also has this problem.  Although this is not related in any matter to real estate when I saw the meaning of the word I just had to post it.  Now for the meaning of (dip’se ma’ne) is an abnormal and insatiable craving for alcoholic drink.  So how few or many do you know?

Aver is the new word of the day. All of us in this business live by this word.  Let me rephrase that the vast majority of us live by this word.  Now having said what I needed to say in the last two sentences have you guessed the meaning?  At least give it a try and rethink what you’ve read thus far.  Haven’t figured it out yet OK I’ll tell you the meaning of (e vur’) is to declare to be true; state positively; affirm.  So does your contract declare what you perceive to be the truth or the truth?  Got ya.  Enjoy the day

Barge-board is the new words of the day. I know you’ve seen this but did you know there was a word for it.  As I’m writing this I’m looking at a picture of it in my Webster’s ®.  These are sadly going away and you need to enjoy them while you can.  It’s a sign of the times when expediency are the norm.  Now for the meaning of (-bord’) is a board, often ornate, attached along the barge couples of a gabled roof, as in Tudor and Gothic architecture.  That people was a mouthful.  Enjoy the day.

I almost forgot the meaning of (lit’e ra’ti’) is men of letters, scholarly or learned people.  YEA B-U-D-D-Y! now what say you?

Pirn is the new word of the day. OK boys and girls if some of you who follow these do not get this one shame on you.  once you find the meaning of the word you’ll know.  Anyway I haven’t got your attention yet so I’ll ramble on for a few more words.  OK that’s enough so now the meaning of (pirn) is and I’m picking number 2 of 2 a fishing reel.  That’s right a fishing reel who would have thought it not me for sure.  Have a good day

Scullery is the new word of the day. Not all homes have one of these.  In the past these were common but not so much these days.  I’ve seen them and one memorable trip to George Washington’s home I remember this.  I don’t see theses coming back into fashion but you never know what tomorrow will bring.  Now for the meaning of (skul’er e) a room adjoining the kitchen where pots and pans are cleaned and stored or where the rough, dirty kitchen work is done.

Arriviste is the new word of the day. How many times have a witnessed this.  Of course the answer is many more than I wanted in some instances and not enough in others.  Some people take this in stride and others let it go to their heads.  The question I have for you is have you witnessed this and if so are you one of them?  Hard decision and requires you to take a long and hard look in the mirror.  The meaning of (a re vest’) is a person who has recently gained power, wealth, success etc. and is regarded as an upstart.

Putz is the new word of the day. I found this word interesting as I’m sure you will also.  I’ve seen these people around and never really thought much about it.  I remember I was in Texarkana Texas and was talking to someone when I saw this person who I immediately associated with this word.  He approached and us and started talking needless to say I was taken aback by the knowledge and education he possessed.  The meaning of (puts) is a person regarded as simple, foolish.  That day I learned my lesson and I do not make snap judgments on anyone until I’m sure.  What say you?

Click To See All 3 Bed Homes Under $100k in Bentonville & Rogers School Districts Are you waiting for the market to hit bottom before you buy? Well, in my opinion, it is too late. The market has already hit bottom and is on its way up. I like to buy really run down homes and fix them up and flip them or keep them as rentals. I have bought homes in Bentonville in the $20 per foot range in 2009, then $30 a foot range in 2010, and as high as $40+ per foot in early 2011. I have only seen a handful of homes under $50 per foot in Bentonville in the last year. The prices are certainly going up. I sold 36 homes in 2011 and they average was $106,000. The bulk of those buyers were buying homes as investment properties. They generally took money out of the stock market that had remained flat for s...

Juvenilia is the new word of the day. Ever look at a contract and have that deer in the headlights look on your face?  This word reminds me of just that.  I’ve had only one but it takes only one to make one scratch their head in wonder.  Now for the meaning of (joo’ve nil’ e a) is writings, paintings, etc. done in childhood or youth.  I would usually have some instances but for this one I’ll wait for your comments to see if they match.  Enjoy your day

Presbycusis is the new word of the day. So when you read the meaning of the new word of the day I bet ya you can count some agent and maybe some client with this problem.  I would make that agent and client plural but I thought better of it.  So anyway the meaning of (prez’bi kyoo’sis) is the gradual loss of acute hearing with advancing age.  While I have an excuse some do not.  Aren’t we trained to listen to the wants and needs of our clients and act accordingly?  What say you?

Malapropism is the new word of the day. Well I do this daily do you?  I’ll bet ya I’ll do it before I go to bed tonight and tomorrow when I wake up.  That is why I sometimes use word and then copy and paste it to the comment section.  Have you guessed it yet come on give it a shot.  OK, OK I’ll save you from getting it wrong again.  The meaning of (mal’e prap iz’em) is the ludicrous misuse of words, through confusion caused by resemblance in sound.  So I always have trouble with to and too, don’t know why but my brain just can’t those right along with a host of others.  What say you?

Maladroit is the new word of the day. Regardless if you are male or female you have struggled with this problem.  You had this problem in your younger years and trust me when you get older it rears its ugly head again.  So if you think you have outgrown it guess again.  So I guess you would like to know the meaning of (mal’d droit) is awkward; clumsy or bungling.  It goes full circle should you survive so long and I for one hope you all of you are around for a very long time maladroit and all.. :~)

Hugger-mugger are the new words of the day. I chose to use two words for today and did so because that is how they are in my Webster’s®.  I’ve had people do this to me in the past and I find it hard to trust people because of it.  So to get to my point I need to tell you the meaning of (hug’er mug’er) is to keep secret, to behave in a secretive or confused way.  Therefore I understand there are things I don’t need to know and some things I know that I wished I didn’t.  What can’t be kept secretive is anything we know about a home where we are the sellers agent.  Not good not good at all now what say you?

Putsch is the new word of the day. I really had reservations about posting this word.  Those of you who think they knew me than you know I just couldn’t resist and so here I take the leap again.  People all over the world you can see it on the news is doing this.  We can do this almost every year and surely every four years if you haven’t guess it yet the meaning of (pooch) is a sudden political uprising or rebellion.  Here is the good Old USA we have a rebellion of sorts every four years regardless of your political affiliation.  This year is no different.  May the person and party you vote for be victorious.  If not we’ll do it all over again in four years.

Clachan is the new word of the day. There are a few of these still around here but not many.  Of course that all depends on the size of the clachan’s around you there may not be any close and there may not be any at all.  Hillary once said it I think but she used a different term.  Guess it yet?  The meaning of (klakh’en) is a hamlet and of course the meaning of hamlet is a small village.  Now that you know the meaning what say you?
