Monsoon season is in full swing.Once I go to sleep it takes an Act of Congress to wake me up. So, last night at 01:00AM the storm came and it woke me up. It slowed down about an hour later and I went back to sleep. It’s now 06:45AM. I’ve finished dancing in the Rain and it is still raining outside. Ground is soaked and Saturday the weather forecast is for even stronger storms. Our market model is geared for those wanting to stay at home and not come into the office. Think I may be late going to the office today if not at all… Just a thought for the moment

Richard Warren was born in Stewartville, Minnesota back in 1863 to James and Eliza. At a very young age you found him working for the railroad after learning telegraphy. In 1880 he was working in North Branch, Minnesota for the Minneapolis and St. Louis Railway. He transferred to Minneapolis where he became a station agent. Inn 886 at the tender age of 23 his life changed forever. Shipment of gold watches was refused by a Minnesota retailer. a common scam was for wholesalers to ship products to retailers who had not ordered them (sound familiar)?   However, Richard jumped at the opportunity agreeing with the wholesaler to give them $12.00 for each watch he sold and anything over that he kept as profit. They agreed and within 6 months he had netted $5,000.00, a hefty sum in those days. He...

Best police excuse… I heard this from a pastor so I’ll take it to be true.  As the story goes an officer was working the late shift when he observed a vehicle approaching a stop light.  With his experience he knew the vehicle was not going to be able to stop.  Yep there it went right through the light.  When he stopped the vehicle a petite young lady was driving.  He immediately saw she was not intoxicated.  So he asked her for the drivers’ license, registration and insurance.  Then the important question actually two.  Young lady did you see that the light was red and if so why did you run it.    Are you ready for the answer?   Scroll down a little more   You’re almost there   One more time   OK here we go.  She told him she had just got her brakes replaced and they had cost a small ...

Gladly Living As A Difference Maker With the Sunday service the lead pastor usually starts out with “You notice our outline is Gladly Living As A Difference Maker would you say that with me please?”  That got me to thinking about our profession and how that phrase relates to us.  Are we not gladly living as a difference maker to the clients we serve?  If it’s the sellers or buyers or both we as agents make a difference to them if it’s selling the home or helping the buyers buy their home.  I for one am gladly living as a difference maker what say you?

I-95 will be jammed for the next month or so........Druggies and deadbeats heading north out of Florida...    Florida is the first state - Hooray for Florida!!!!    Florida is the first state requiring drug testing to receive welfare! In signing the new law,    Republican Gov. Rick Scott said, "If Floridians want welfare, they better make sure they are drug-free.    Applicants who test positive for illicit substances won't be eligible for the funds for a year, or until they undergo treatment.  Also they pay for the test.  If they pass the State will pay them back if they don’t it sucks to use drugs in Florida what a great deal…    Those who fail a second time would be banned from receiving funds for three years!    Naturally, a few people are crying this is unconstitutional.    How is ...

Thoughts 5 I bought a poinsettia last night. It was dead today. This could not be a good sign       One time I happily helped my grandson with his homework. The next visit I asked if he needed help again. He replied, "Thanks, but I need a higher grade than a "C".
