The issue goes back a long time ago. The earliest time was during the Reign of Augustus. The reasons re varied just as the bled of grass or snowflakes. Some for infidelity, abandonment, financial, children or the lack of them, physical or emotional abuse, personal indifference and the list continues.Divorce has been going on a long time. Just like each couple are different so are issues that arise. What I want to tell you is about the first recorded divorce in American history. It happened on January 5th, 1643 in the Massachusetts Bay Colony between Denis Clarke and his wife Anne. For you see Denis admitted to abandoning Anne and having children by another woman. He refused to return to Anne thus the courts granted her divorce. I don’t know who wrote the recordings but they needed some ...

December 7th, a date that will live in infamy.  We are all familiar with the speech given by President Roosevelt.  It was truly a date that no American will forget.  Of course, this was an event all of us did not want to happen however it did.  But what else happened on December 7th back in 1787 that is just a footnote of America?  It all began with one of our States doing something that other representatives just talked about. The American Revolutionary War started in 1775 to 1783.  However, what this State did was the start to what we now know as the Republic which binds us together as a nation.  That is the State of Delaware, the first State to ratify the Constitution by a unanimous vote.  So, tell me did you know this took place 156 years before the other December 7th day that lives ...
