Virtual tours are not only great for Real Estate, but also hospitality, restaurants, preschools, stores, and parks as well as many other locations.  Earlier this year we were asked to shoot about 12 appartment complexes by the owner of the properties. We've been gradually shooting a unit in each complex as they become available, this is one of the tours we produced:     View this tour in a new window. Andy Kinslow is a principal at Kinslow, Keith & Todd, Inc. and a graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Architecture.  He was recently named Small Business Person of the Year by the Tulsa Metro Chamber.  I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Kinslow last year after an acquaintance of his read one of my posts on modern architecture which featured his personal residence.  The acquaintance put us in contact, and Mr. Kinslow was gracious enough to invite me to his home for a tour.  Unfortunately my camera crashed and I lost every photo from the tour.  Below are excerpts of an email interview Mr. Kinslow granted on May 7, 2008.  Enjoy! The snow never came, so my trip with my friend Suzanne actually happened.  She lives in Tulsa so we headed to NWA on Friday.  We stopped in Chouteau, Oklahoma to visit Ropp's Farm and Bakery.  This family-owned bakery has fresh goods every day including pies, cookies, bread, cinnamon rolls, and more.  Totally worth the stop! Once we reached Fayetteville, I gave Suzanne a tour of the town & the University of Arkansas.  We saw Razorback Stadium, the nearly-completed Chancellor's home, Bud Walton Arena, the Greek Theater, and Old Main, of course. Suzanne was impressed with the natural beauty of Fayetteville and the great "vibe" that the progressive college town gives off. We couldn't resist photographing the object at left.  Believe it or not that is a cell phone tower.  Yes, it is covered...

Anderson Cooper will speak at the University of Arkansas on Friday, March 7th as part of its Distinguished Lecture Series.  Anderson will be speaking in Barnhill Arena at 8pm.  The event is free and open to the public. I've been following Anderson since he was a reporter for Channel One, a news service that was broadcast in public schools when I was a kid.  He is now host of Anderson Cooper 360 on CNN.  You better believe I'll be taking my copy of Dispatches from the Edge, Anderson Cooper's memoir, attempting to score an autograph.  If you're in Northwest Arkansas or close by I think you should consider attending!     ActiveRain members:  join the Razorbacks in Real Estate group.
