Okay, the issue of the politically incorrect Arkansas State mascot has been solved. The ASU Indians are now THE ASU RED WOLVES. Apparently Red Wolves actually once roamed our state but are now extinct. So ASU is bringing them back to life. Hopefully our athletic teams will do the Red Wolves justice and make them proud! At least now we're politically correct. Go RED WOLVES!!!!

Gosh I haven't been on here in a long time. The Marcom Team added two new members in February, which has been a tremendous plus for us, but it has been alot of work for me! Since I do most of the computer work for our Team, I've been adjusting our websites and ads to include our new team members. One is a seasoned Realtor but the other is newly licensed, and as we all know, you learn what you need to in school to pass the test, but then you have to learn how to use the computer to find your clients the homes they want! And I've been the teacher for our newest Realtor. It has been delightful having two new team members to work with my parents and me. We've known them a long time and they've been friends for years, so the trust is there among us. Take "The Marcom Team Advantage -- 5 Licen...

With a new mall, new restaurants, and crime up in the big cities around us, Jonesboro has been busy during the holiday season. Instead of driving to the cities, the citizens of northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri came to Jonesboro to do their shopping and eating. Traffic has been heavy for this city of 60,000, business is up, and even our real estate calls have increased. With over 70 banking institutions and a church on nearly every corner, Jonesboro is a friendly place to do business, and an excellent place to live. Arkansas State University, with nearly 10,000 students, is a big bonus for our city. Our school systems are good, too. Come give us a visit.

My parents and I as members of The Marcom Team started the first real estate blog in Jonesboro on our website at www.jonesboroarkansashomes.com. Now I'm finding out I need to be blogging here also. We just attended the RE/MAX Mid-States Convention in Branson where I learned about ActiveRain and was bombarded with yet more technology. Jonesboro is a great town in northeast Arkansas with a population closing in on 60,000. We're a college town, a mostly "dry" county (which means you have to be a member of a club to buy liquor), and we have a bank and a church on every corner. It's a great town to bring up kids. We're only an hour from Memphis, Tennessee, and a bit over 2 hours from Little Rock, so we're in a great location. Come check us out, or if you know someone moving here, send them m...
