April fun in the Mountain Home area of North Central Arkansas is always beautiful! Becky and I enjoyed a spectacular ride south out of Mountain Home today down state hwy 341, known to locals as Push Mountain Road. It is approx 25 miles of twisting curves with spectacular vistas overlooking the National Forest. The Ozark Mountains are old...even in geologic terms. These Mountains have been worn down over the years to be beautiful rollings hills. You can see the ridges of the National Forest just south of Mountain Home. The Forest Service has done a great job over the years managing the Forest and making sure that recreational opportunities are balanced with the Forests production. 341 junctions with state hwy 14 just north of Blanchard Springs Caverns.
