About two weeks ago I was enjoying gas prices around the $1.23 to 1.25 range.  Since then they have gone up to $1.69.  I noticed the prices on my way home.  I haven't heard of the current prices on oil.  Does anyone have any idea of why the sudden price hike?I also find it fascinating that when oil prices go down the price of gas drops a penny or two and it takes weeks to get there.  Have the oil prices go up and the prices rise a nickel or higher immediately.  I haven't heard of any oil shortage....  Anyone have an answer?

Joseph FrancisThanks for stopping by and taking time out of your day to read my post.  My intent is to put a smile on your face.  Hopefully you’ll go away with some information you may have forgotten about or did not know.  Now sit back and enjoy.Joseph was born in Boston, Massachusetts back in 1801.  He started building boats early in his life.  He won first prize in a public competition at the early age of 18.  Later on he worked for the US. Government, building life boats for war ships.  Of course the U.S. Government turned down his idea for a life boat so he started his own business on the Jersey Shore.  He called his life boats the life-car.  But can you tell me what was so special about Josephs life-car?   Well it was the first person to use iron in the construction of life boats....

I enjoyed showing some beautiful homes in Pinnacle this week-end. This is a view from the club house to the golf course. When not covered with snow , this course features cutting edge turf that includes creeping bentgrass, zorro zoysia, and riviera bermuda       From the Website: Pinnacle Country Club "Home to the LPGA's Northwest Arkansas Championship, Pinnacle Country Club's magnificent par-71, 7,001 yard layout was sculpted from the rolling terrain and densely wooded hillside at the foot of the Ozark Mountains in the heart of Northwest Arkansas."

I found this beautiful Passion flower, also known as a Maypop on the Blossom trail in Rogers. It is a sturdy perennial vine with pale lavender flowers that bloom all summer. It yields edible oval fruits in the fall that can be used to make pies and jelly. The Blossom trail is part of the Rogers Trail system   Click here to see all the NWA Trails
