While I was in law enforcement one of the exercises we went through was this.  The instructor told us there was a violent felon in the room and he (she) was armed.  It was our duty to enter the room and take the suspect into custody or use whatever force necessary to assure the arrest.  We entered the room and found it to be dark as dark can get.  As we were stumbling around shots rang out and most of us succumbed to our injuries as a result.  That's when the instructor flipped on the light switch which was located next to the entry door.  Had one of us thought for a moment to just flip on the light switch we could have either affected the arrest or shot the suspect without the carnage.  So I ask you have you switched on the light?  Enjoy the day it may be your last.  12/12/2010

Ok I know it's the holidays but now when most agents are taking the holidays off my partner and I are working harder than ever so when the New Year starts we can have a good inventory of homes available.  To those agents who are saying they can't find any listings I say to you if you look for them you can find them.  You may need to change your tactics but they are out there.  For you sellers who happen to read this a lot of people are taking their homes off the market during the holidays.  I say to you now is the time to list.  The inventory is low and people are looking the lower the inventory the higher the chance your home will sell and that's my 2 cents.  Enjoy the day it may be your last. 12/11/2010

Over the holiday weekend I went to my first family reunion.  needless to say there were people I never knew and those I fondly remember.  However with that said you know you're in trouble when you see a road sign just a few hundred feet from your campsite when you see this Maybe next time I can pick a different spot.  No family members were missing but no one let their dogs and kids out either, maybe that's why it was so peaceful.  Enjoy the day 11/29/2010

I read today in our local paper where a judge on the eastern side of the State may lose his job. In the article they used the word in the title and I thought it appropriate for the thoughts I was thinking. I have a partner in my new agency. I have a proclivity to get listings and she has one for marketing the properties. Where I’m lacking in something she picks up and moves on. It’s a good combination and works well.
