I haven't had this happen to me by my clients (present and past) or by my fellow agents.  In my past profession I certainly have had it happen to me on more times than I care to admit, none of which I was guilty of.  But any way I hope this has not happened to you as I know all agents are (should be) above reproach.  The meaning of calumnies is: a false and malicious statement meant to hurt someone's reputation.  In some States this may be grounds for a civil suit, one or two of these could zip the lip on most people.  Join wordsmith on Activerain.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home. This rule applies to everyone.  No one is exempt however some may be grandfathered in but certain rules apply.  Whenever rules change you will find these people.  I've did this in the past but I found it is better to role with the punches than do this.  The meaning of obstreperous is:  noisy, boisterous, or unruly, resisting or opposing.  Of course the portion of the meaning I'm concerned with is resisting or opposing.  I'm sure the noisy, boisterous or unruly rule does not apply with any clients or agents.  If you're trying to make addendums to the contract are some of your clients resisting the change?  Keep trying they need to change in order to sell their home.  For your fellow agents who oppose new changes they won't be around and it leaves more for those who do.  Join wordsmith on...

I know when I started in this business I needed guidance as I was trying to fill out the documents using terminology I used in law enforcement.  I quickly found out the words that were common to me were foreign to real estate.  It took me awhile to adjust so don't let your contracts be on quaky ground and the meaning is: inclined to quake; shaky.  Place your contracts on solid ground and enjoy the day.  Join wordsmith on Activerain.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home. So tell me are you the agent that's sits on their backside and waiting for the phone to ring?  Are you afraid to pick up the dreaded phone and make a cold call or knock on a door?  How about getting up in front of a crowd and telling them something about real estate that you're familiar with?  If so I'll call you the frozen chosen so when the phone doesn't ring and you sit at your desk wondering why you can't get a listing or buyer I'll be taking listings and getting buyers.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home. This happens to me all the time.  I have a listing appointment and bring all the information to the table and at the last minute this happens.  Just recently I had a contract that was worked out prior to the document being written.  The contract was signed by the buyers and presented to the seller.  I received a call from the seller and this happened.  The meaning of trope: a turning or changing.  My clients change their mind all the time.  Join wordsmith on Activerain.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home Visit me at www.SellNWA.com

I know this is the first time I've used this double new word but they are needed to give this information meaning.  When we take a listing, deliver a contract have a client sign any documents we are in essence doing this.  Consider the meaning when you are filling out the documents as you are libel for the document.  The meaning of legate: an envoy or ambassador and legation: the act of sending a legate on a mission.  You are representing your agency and the State is giving you permission to fill in the blank section of an official document commonly used by attorneys.  They are giving you a limited and very limited permission to practice law.  Don't try to be creative just do as you're told or you may be standing in front of the State Commission and that's not a good position to be in. ...

I thankfully don't have one of these and so far (knock on wood) I haven't experienced this.  The question I have is what reaction I will have if I experience this phenomenon.  I have prepared myself for such an issue.  Oh by the way the meaning of insular: like an island; detached; isolated.  So are some of your clients an insular?  Join wordsmith on Activerain.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home. Wouldn't it be nice to have your clients do this with you?  I have most of mine do this and it's been wonderful I only wish all of them would.  It takes out all guess work and opens up the line of communication between you and your client.  You might ask me what galliard stands for and I'll tell you it means: a lively French dance in triple time for two dancers.  Have your client dance through the maze of the real estate market its great.  Join wordsmith on Activerain.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home. Well now this is a new one on me.  I never heard of this word but I sure know what it means now.  I've tried to get my clients to do this and 99.99% do but some just doesn't get it.  As many times as I've tried they can't seem to respond to my requests.  The meaning of effectors: that part of a nerve which transmits an impulse to an organ or response.  The organ is the brain and the response is to sign the contract or tell me what's really on their mind.  Join wordsmith on Activerain.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home. You know I really haven't looked at this I mean really looked to see if they are there.  I have called it several things but not this and unless you're a carpenter I bet ya you didn't know it either.  I've seen it and I've called it different things but now I know the right terminology.  Dazzle your friends and other agents with this new word.  The meaning of dado: the lower part of the wall of a room if decorated differently from the upper part, as with panels or an ornamental border.  Join wordsmith on Activerain.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home. Every wonder how agents stay in the market when it's down.  Are you one of those agents?  I can tell you from experience for me it was my mindset.  My broker said I could do it and I believed it.  So have you let your mindset go to your mind?  Little play on words but it's so true if you come to work with the mindset you'll fail well guess what you will.  In this crazy market without the proper mindset you will not make it.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home. Not trying to preach as goodness knows there are better people to do that than me.  But I don't dwell on the past for the most part because it's just that history.  We learn from our mistakes and move on.  To dwell on something you regret from your past is holding you there and not letting you go to the next adventure in life.  Whatever is holding you back let go and move on you'll like it.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home. I had other words and phrases for what I held in my hand when I graduated from high school.  I looked at that document many times since then and the same for other documents I've held since that time not so long ago.  If you look at your driver's license it's on there but the most important document that has this cachet is your pocket card or your license wherever you hang it.  The meaning of cachet: a seal or stamp on an official letter or document.  Show it with pride as you've earned it.  Join wordsmith on Activerain.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home. I haven't had this happen to me although sometimes I wonder.  For those of you who have had this happen and have lived through it I take my hat off to you.  This must be difficult but we are professionals.  You must take your client by the hand and walk them through this procedure.  The meaning of hebephrenia: a form of schizophrenia characterized by childish or silly behavior.  Now I'm not saying or inferring that your clients are schizophrenic, but some may exhibit childish or silly behavior.  Join wordsmith on Activerain.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home. In my office we have sales meetings on Tuesday.  That's okay but my argument is for Monday.  Reason on Monday your fresh from the weekend (not) I don't know about you but I work on weekends.  Anyway if I'm pumped on Monday than our sales meeting with my broker just makes me think I can conquer the world.  If I have a bad Monday than Tuesday I am just as pumped as Monday.  The trick is some agents who have a bad Monday they let it set the stage for the rest of the week.  If you want to make it in this business treat each and every day as a Monday... When I was in law enforcement most of the officers was this.  Don't get me wrong in that profession you had to be.  It was a matter of life or death and I'm glad to say I was a member of a unique group of men and women.  I don't find that kind of behavior in agents nor have I witnessed that in my clients.  I was wondering if you have and the meaning of bazoo: loud or boastful talk.  Join wordsmith on Activerain.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home. I was at one of my local mega stores today getting a flat repaired.  While I was waiting I observed this saying over the counter.  I for one I have and I bet either you or someone you know have had the same thing happen to them.  If only the people (not all mind you) that control things would listen maybe some of this could be avoided and not become an issue.  So tell me what you think.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home. That's right you're reading my header correctly.  Normally I would not resort to such an outburst but this market can change in the blink of an eye.  I understand that in some places they still do this and I believe we can use it to our advantage if we just try.  The meaning of battue: a beating of underbrush and woods to drive game out to hunters.  Of course I mean to drive or bring buyers and sellers to the market before the interest rates go up and we hit another slump.  Join wordsmith on Activerain.  It's a great day to buy or sell a home. I was he only agent left at the office a couple of weeks ago when a lady walked in and wanted to see an agent.  It seems that she was considering listing her property.  We went to a conference room and talked.  She asked me one question that I thought killed the deal.  "How aggressive are you"? I told her I was a middle of the road type agent.  You need to be aggressive when listing the property and trying to sell it but to get aggressive with the buyers can be the death nail just as bad as the one who does nothing.    We talked some more and she left.  I called her the next day and she stated she was taking a different route.  Oh well next.............
