If you have read my post the other day, Grandma is buying her first home and closing very soon!   Grandma closes today!  YaY!  She finally got the key of her dream home for her grand children, she is a proud home owner for the 1st time.  She is beyond excited.  We were supposed to close yesterday but there was a little set back, but we close today! 3rd ANNUAL CASA PLAYHOUSE FUNDRAISER TICKET ON SALE NOW                  http://www.crittendencountycasa.org CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates, and they are selling fundraiser tickets for 3 very CUTE playhouses this year.  It is by lucky draw in July, they are $5 per ticket or 5 tickets for $20.  It has been a successful fundraiser event for CASA, which they are helping to voice for foster children who are either physically abused or neglected by their parents/family in court.  And I am one of the volunteers who went through many hours of training and sworn in front of the judge to be an advocate for the children. "Grease" showing at West Memphis Performer's Center tomorrow, 2/23, @ 7 p.m.   I went to see the play "Grease" last Saturday, and it was wonderful!  These talented youths age from middle school to high school, they sing and dance, no dull moment.  Cast members are local students and went for auditioned and got their role, very talented kids. Per request, the production is going to have one more show tomorrow evening at 7 at West Memphis Performer's Center.  It lasts about 60-75 minutes, ticket is around $7, I paid mine advance for $5 and bought it from a cast member.  The Performer's Center is located at West Memphis High School, you turn right from Burger King on Broadway, and the Performer's Center is right there on your left.  Hope you will have time to go to see this great play and ... 02/22/2010

DAR-Chocolate Celebration at Church of Christ in West Memphis, Ar. YUM!  That's all I have to say, haha.  I went to this annual fund raiser for chocolate lovers like me to taste all chocolate goodies, all you can eat for only $5 advance ticket and $8 door ticket.  Thanks goodness they them in small pieces, otherwise I would not be able to try so many of them.  Check it out.                                             The event started from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, I couldn't get there till 2:15, so I thought there wouldn't be much left, but out of my surprise, they kept refilling those goodies as the platter went half empty till it reached 3 o'clock.  They had water and coffee for you to wash down those goodies.  There were like 10 round tables with 6 platters of chocolate goodies sampl... 02/08/2010

DAR-Chocolate Celebration on 2/6/10 this Saturday at Church of Christ, West Memphis Chocolate Celebration is back!  This is an annual event for all chocolate lovers to pay a minimum fee to eat all the chocolate you want.  It includes chocolate fountain to make chocolate covered strawberry, various types of chocolate goodies, doesn't it make you drool? It is an annual event to raise scholarship fund for Mid South Community College runs by DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution.  Tickets are selling at $5.00 in advance or $8.00 at the door.
