The Anthem real estate market remained on an even keel through December 2015 as we head into the traditional buying season.  The number of homes sold was up 18% from a year ago, and up slightly over November.   The 12 month moving average sale price continues to edge up, climbing to $305,649, up 2% from the previous year.  And the number of homes on the market edged down a bit to 184 with the days on market at 80, a little less than last year.  All told, the Anthem housing market is in very good shape at this time.Here are the latest stats for the month ending 2/29/16:Active Listings: 212Homes Pending: 136Homes sold in last 30 days: 49 (Up 7% from Jan. Anthem Parkside Home The fourth quarter of 2015 saw the expected holiday slow down for the Anthem Parkside real estate market. Home sales were well off from the third quarter of the year but up 10% from last year.  The average sale price continued its upward trend year over year (+6%).  And the average price per square foot increased (+4%) as well, signifying that home prices of all sizes are still increasing in the Parkside.  The average days on market increased over last quarter but was down 14% year over year. The inventory of homes on the market is at 2.57 month’s supply, so we’re still leaning toward a seller’s market.
