Property Boundaries Fences should not be considered an indication of property boundaries. Legal property boundaries are demarcated by surveyor pins or stakes. These are typically 1/2" to 3/4" round iron pipes flush or buried slightly below land surface. Newer pins might have yellow or orange caps that indicate the surveyor's license number. Locating property lines can be challenging. Older surveyor pins tend to erode. Older property markers could be metal posts, rebar, pipes or car axles.   Believe or Not, this is a great time to be in Real Estate.   What in world you may ask would lead me to make such a bold statement as now is the time to be in real estate? First of all, there are tons of buyers out there. The hard part is that there are so many buyers that there are multiple offers on virtually every listing and it becomes a bidding war.    Buyers that offer full listed price on a bank owned property will have a hard time winning that war, the same seems to be true for Short Sales also.      It seems that the listed price is nothing more than a starting point for negotiations. Watch out for the Arizona Republic   Several months ago when picking up the Sunday Arizona  Republic  there was a coupon for home delivery for $1 a week, so called and was told it would be $5.81 per month out of my checking account, said that is fine and gave them my account information.   In July I notice that they have taken twice as much out of my account, so I called and was told that they had sent me a notice of the increase, which I had not received.  So I told there person on the phone to cancel subscription. They came back said they would put the difference back in my account and continue my subscription at the same rate.
