Lights Out Flagstaff Come Celebrate the most incredible night in Flagstaff!! For two nights, homes, businesses, and city buildings will turn off their lights and enjoy free public astronomy programs. Come to the Heritage Square on Friday, March 28th at 7:30pm to watch the lights go out. Telescopes will be available for public viewing, provided by the Coconino Astronomical Society. On Saturday, March 29th, Lowell Observatory will offer FREE admission after 5pm Flagstaff is deemed a dark city, so you'll notice, there aren't any billboards around with lights. The city lights are more of an orange in color, so they don't put off light pollution into the air. Sky gazing at night in Flagstaff is a magical experience. Come enjoy this special event!!
