Whatever you do do not hire movers to move you on closing day! The best bet is to hire them for the following day. Closing day in Arizona is usually 3 days after you sign your paperwork. The deed must get recorded first before you can officially call your new home yours. Recording in Maricopa county will occur on your closing date and is fairly quick as the deed is recorded electronically, but it is also done on a first come, first serve basis so you just never know where you are in line.
