Gilbert AZ Honors Fallen Public Safety Workers   On April 30, 2010 the Town of Gilbert AZ honored it's fallen public safety workers. Included during the tribute, was the unveiling of the name of Gilbert Police Officer Lt. Eric Shuhandler on the Memorial. Lt. Shuhandler was killed in the line of duty earlier this year on Val Vista Drive in Gilbert by two gunmen, who were caught by other officers that same evening after a high speed chase on Highway 60. There is also a tribute to Lt. Shuhandler at the Gilbert Historical Museum; and photos on the wall tell the story of his life. Some of the items belonging to the Lt. It's a bit late to complain. They should have seen those two story homes and determined before buying the home that it doesn't give the privacy it needs. Gilbert AZ Homes For Sale  Market Report May 2010   The current Active number of single family homes for sale  in Gilbert AZ as of June 10, 2010 is 1411 homes for sale. There are 550 single family homes in Gilbert that are AWC-1, which means it is a Short Sale with a seller accepted contract, and the sale is being negotiated with the Lender. There are 656 Pending contracts, which are under contract and in the escrow process. Pending contracts are used as a guage to determine what the number of sales the following month may be. The home sales in Gilbert AZ  have been fairly steady since last June 2009, in the 400+ range of home sales per month.  The sales dropped into the 300's per month during the slow winter season and picked back up to 440 sales in March, 470 in April and 483 in May. ...
