If you are anywhere in the East Phoenix Arizona area and have a horse, or if you  just love horses, but do not own one you may want to check out the summer events being hosted by Apache Junction Parks and Rec and Superstition Horseman’s Association. Events called "Nights Under the Lights" take place every Thursday night from May 8th until August 26th from 6-9pm. Events take place at the Apache Junction Rodeo grounds in Apache Junction Arizona. A person need not be a member of the Superstition Horsemen's Association to participate, Non-members are welcome to come and participate in the free riding events and there are always folks there interested in talking about horses.
