Snowbirds Begin to Arrive in Gold Canyon Arizona

The "snowbird" season has begun. Every year about this time a migration begins of approximately 30,000 people arriving to the Gold Canyon and Apache Junction Arizona, as well as some surrounding areas. As predictable as a migrating duck, these people arrive and enjoy all the beauty of the Superstition Mountains, the wonderful warm weather and seasonal activities. The local merchants enjoy a burst of additional business. Some businesses notice a particular spike in activities. Local restaurant owners report that "snowbirds love to go out for breakfast".
