Now that I am moved in to my ranch home fulltime in the magical ranch community of Willow Creek Ranch, in Northern Arizona, not only would I love to hang with Bob for a day at work for him - I would LOVE to have him come and give me his educated opinions on our 36 acres of trees and how they should best be trimmed, treated and ignored so that they are as healthy as possible.  I think that if my trees surrounding me are healthy then the animals, birds and other plants will be better off as well!  We have juniper and pinion pines, scrub oak, and manzanita populated by mourning doves, roadrunners, mountain bluejays, bob white quail, red-tailed hawk, chipmunks, gophers, ground squrells, and kangaroo rats.  Of of these small critters are joined by javalina, deer and elk.  I get under my Juni...

My HOME My HOME My ONLY home!!!!!!  Willow Creek Ranch I live in Zipcode Paradise - more than 30 minutes from any established villiage, city or town.  I see deer, coyotes, elk, javelina, and lots of birds each week.  Cows wander into my front and back yard and often times walk unto my back patio if they don't see people. I can see for miles around me, rolling hills and mountains are the backdrop to zipcode paradise. Oh I still have traffic... if I watch I will see two cars per day M - Th, and Fri - Sun it is awful - sometimes 5 or 6  vehicles drive by my home and past my driveway 1/2 mile away to the west.  But if I don't LOOK, I can't hear it because of all the trees, they buffer all noise.  We are heavily forested in Juniper trees with a few Pinion Pines mixed in!  We also have lots o...
