Don't Miss the Fireworks in Maricopa This Weekend! Even with the hot Arizona days we all look forward to the wonderful firework displays we have in Maricopa. Yes, Even During the Summer the Desert Can Be Beautiful   I'm not going to lie, it can get hot in the summer in Arizona, including our wonderful little piece of it...Maricopa. Being a desert, the tempature can get as high as 115 - 120 degrees. (What? Are we crazy for living here??!!)  LOL   - In a word - YES But the one nice thing is, the desert can be beautiful during the summer months. Even during the upcoming Monsoons we get some wonderful sunsets and colorful sky's. Driving home in electrical storms can be an amazing site the way the sky lights up. Then after the storm, the sky is so nice.  While it is hard to be outside...and if you do, make sure to take and drink plenty of water! If you can, check out the desert. The town was small but just starting to grow with the first two subdivisions we're just popping up (Cobblestone Farms & Rancho el Dorado).
