We couldn't ask for a better Memorial Weekend this week in Maricopa, AZ.  Normally we experience tempatures in the 100s but not this year. We will be in the mid 80s all week!        The weather has been great the past few weeks. Rain Storms Bring the Funniest Things So we had a pretty bad storm last night that dropped quite a bit of rain. Sounded like buckets and buckets. Since I live out in the desert about 15 minutes from town it is always fun in the middle of the night to guess which washes will be closed and which wouldn't.  Home Sales in Maricopa are on the Rise! If you are looking to buy or sell a home in Maricopa you will be glad to know that Maricopa is doing well and on the move.  When looking at the 1st qtr 2015 vs the same time last year we had 369 homes sold vs 340 (up 8.5%) over the year prior.  The average home price for single detached homes in our first quarter of 2015 was $162,050 vs $155,960 last year. A gain of 3.9%.
