I had the pleasure of seeing all the DR Horton Homes for sale in Rancho Sahuarita, Arizona this afternoon.  Claudia Sanders, the builder's representative, was kind enough to let me tour all the available models and inventory. These homes range from the Vista Plan at 1,862 sq ft to as large as the Santa Fe Plan with a Super Loft coming in with 6 bedrooms at over 3,800 sq ft!   The Estancia Del Corazon neighborhood of Rancho Sahuarita will be a gated community, with cobblestone driveways and larger lots. My favorite of the day was the model of the Sabino. Please wipe your feet before walking on my ceiling... I was doing the final walk-through with my buyers this week when their laughter brought me into the master bedroom as they stood looking at the ceiling. "Look, Cara" they said, wide grins on their faces.  "There's a shoe print on the ceiling!" This bedroom had 12 foot vaulted ceilings for sure, and immediately one's mind starts circling... "Look closer", they laughed. I looked again. ...Lo and behold, in the middle of the very dirty, deep-tread footprint...was a dead fly. What a shot!  Next time, just use a CLEAN shoe!

Sahuarita Housing Report for September 2009 As of August 2009 active inventory was 219, a 6% decrease from August 2008. There were 38 closings in August 2009, 73%above August 2008. Months of Inventory was 5.8, down from 10.6 in August 2008. Median price of sold homes was $162,084 for the month of August 2009, down 16% from August 2008.
