The Southwest Wildlife Rehabilitation and Educational Foundation is a really special local non-profit located in Scottsdale, AZ. Southwest Wildlife's mission is to rescue, care for and rehabilitate injured or orphaned wildlife native to the Southwest. At any time, it could be helping coyotes, javelinas, bobcats, bears, skunks, coatis, foxes, ringtails and more. Recently, they took in several bear cubs and baby bobcats. First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit .. Is it working?  I know that a while ago, I read and commented on a post in AR with many REALTORS and Loan Officers saying they were not so sure whether or not the tax credit has worked nor is it needed.  I am a bit skeptical about these type of comments.  Let's keep it in perspective! Not all markets are alike.  In fact, living and working in Arizona, the program has done miracles to our market.  In fact, it is hard to buy a home right now due to the feeding frenzy.  Regardless of what some of the micro markets are doing, the overall country has benefited from this program. Homes for Sale in Scottsdale Estates - Scottsdale Estates Homes for Sale Many people are under the impression that there are no affordable homes for sale in Scottsdale.  I would like to dispel that myth right now.  There ARE affordable homes for sale in many Scottsdale neighborhoods.  One of those neighborhoods is Scottsdale Estates.  Scottsdale Estates is located in the heart of south Scottsdale, approximately between Thomas Road & Indian School to the north and from Pima Road to Scottsdale Road to the west.  Built by Hallcraft in the late 1950's to mid-1960's, these homes are largely of brick or block construction and have been built to last.  There are 3 bedroom homes for sale in Scottsdale Estates or you can search for 4 bedroom homes for sale.  What about homes for sale with pools?...

Sonoran Property Inspections went to the Inspection Stimulus Conference in Las Vegas this past weekend and learned some very interesting things. I think that Infra Red Inspections will certainly become a large part of the future of home inspections and provide the buyers another way to get valuable information on their new home. The home inspection industry is starting to embrace this and I think it is gathering steam pretty rapidly. The technology is expensive but like most technology is coming down on price pretty quickly. The typical camera that is $5000 today was about $8000 a few years ago.  We will look hard at adding this to our services and might even add it as a stand alone company but will need to investigate considerably more before we proceed.
