In Tempe, people often talk about the “aging housing stock” and the fact that it is hard ( or very expensive ) to find newer homes in the area. The fact that Tempe is basically landlocked is certainly one of the main reasons you don’t see many new housing developments. While we have a ton of awesome neighborhoods, there is currently a cool trend happening where people take the time, effort and resources to update their homes.  I love it when we have the opportunity to showcase properties that have been remodeled in the Tempe area. The Optimist park Neighborhood in Tempe Az is full of many nice features and surrounded by most of the conveniences one would look for when choosing a South Tempe home. Within the Optimist Park neighborhood you will find Fuller Elementary school along with walking and biking trails, single and multi-family homes, some smaller neighborhood parks and of course the Optimist Park itself with it’s expansive grass areas, playground equipment and more.
