OMGosh - I know I promised to write earlier, but I have been so - o - o busy.  I picked up 155 Allen Blocks on the weekend, and with each one weighing about 30 lbs., by the end of the day I thought my arms were going to fall off.  Although I only bought 155, I had to move them into the truck and out of the truck.  I did have a helper, but still, it was really hard work. Today, I put some of them together and it ended up that I had to do it 3 times to get it right.  It was also hard work.  However, that is nothing compared to what I have gotten myself into.  I decided I wanted a pond.  I found one used on Craigslist, and it was operating in someone's yard and it was full of fish, Koi to be exact. Well we dug and pulled it up, moved it, and then my helpers didn't show up to work and I am ...

OMGosh, today the world started changing.  Not only is the sun out, but my neighbor from you know where actually came out and offered the painter to put his ladder on their property by a couple inches, as long as they were not liable. Will miracles never stop to happen?  God is incredible, and life is entertaining.  WOW!!! Just a quick update to the neighborhood. Attended the Community Mtg. last night.  Could not stay for it all, but it was very interesting.  Does anyone have any input about zoning bylaws and changing from a single family residence to allowing suites?  How does this impact a quiet village. Happy Sunny Day to Everyone, even if today is not sunny in your Neighborhood think sunny and smile.

Today was a fantastic Day!!!!   First to all of you who wrote back, thank you for your input.  I always appreciate the support I get on AR.  What would I do without you.  Only solution that was great, but did not work for me, is getting a big dog.  But I would love a dog, if I ever settled down.   I travel way to much to have a dog.  Now the kicker for today.  I received a letter from the City today showing they were requesting a variance to the Building Code to expand their balcony.  How ironic, after their behavior for the last couple of months.  Should prove to be interesting.  Remember, if you move to a small community, the politics will try to kill you. As you know, or maybe not, I did my MA in First Nation Treaty Negotiation which is a huge thing here in BC.  Today I bought an ori...
