SPEECHLESS SUNDAY IT'S SUMMER PERENNIAL TIME IN OUR YARD Spring Time Flowers are all but gone, now it's time for our perennials to shine and add Summer Colour to our Garden. Here two Perennials currently in their full bloom in our back yard as we head into August in Victoria, BC First our Rudbeckia hirta, commonly called "Black-Eyed Susan"..a member of the sunflower tribe of the large family Asteraceae. Annual Colourful Perennial...which the Bees love is our Solidago, commonly called goldenrods,(Canadian Goldenrod) is a genus of about 100 to 120 species of flowering plants in the aster family.
