Should You Be Poking Around For A New Mortgage?

You probably have had no trouble following the news that rates have dropped dramatically. Our office is quoting rates to current clients in the mid- to high 4's on purchase loans and most refinances and the low to mid 5's on new FHA loans. Absolutely incredible. Cash out refinances are still in the low 6's, but they'll come back around. E-mail me right now if you want me to see how these new rates affect you. As long as you have equity in your home, we should look at these. If you don't have equity in your home, you are late in calling me about a Loan Modification. The rules on those have changed to help the regular folks like you and me. The last two I submitted both received approval.
