Good versus Evil - Speechless Sundays     This was one of the new "sculptures" at the reopened Lego Store at Downtown Disney.  It's amazing to me and kids how incredible the things are that they can build with Legos. We just had to stop and take a look at what they have created and enjoy the spectacle.

Disney's California Adventure-Wonderful World of Color The Wonderful World of Color is an AMAZING water and light (with a few flamethrowers) show in California Adventure.. They have this show everynight, in fact they shut down that section of the part specifically for that show! You have to have a ticket to be able to view it. You can use your tickets into the park or you annual passes to get tickets to the show, at certain times you can go to the Grizzly River fastpass dispencers and a cast member will distribute you and your guest tickets to the show.   The show itself is SPECTACULAR!!! It stays true to everything Walt Disney and you cannot help but watch this show as if you were once again a wide-eyed child!!! Almost any and every Disney Cartoon/Pixar Cartoon you can think of you wil...

The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Under Sea Adventure This ride just recently opened in Disney California Adventure in early June of this year.. Today was the first time I got to ride it! The wait time was about a half hour, but it went by really quick. They ride is one of those constantly moving rides like how The Haunted Mansion is, you just jump in your seashell while it's moving. The ride takes you through different scenes throughout the movie that we all know and love! The thing that I love the most not only about this ride just about Disneyland in general, is that is pretty much my whole childhood right there! Every Christmas my parents would buy me and my sisters whatever Disney movie that had recently came out during that time from The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Th...

Friday Foto(s): I Have to be Swallowed by a Whale?!?!?!  Named Monstro?!   That's right! In order to enter into Storybook Land in Disneyland, you have to go in through the digestive track of Monstro the whale...Once you enter into Storybook Land you will get to see Cinderella on her way to the Castle to meet her prince charming, see the city of Agraba where Aladdin and Jasmin took a magic carpet ride into "a whole new world", the house where Pinoccio became a real boy, and so much more.

Disneyland California by Robert Swetz 2011 Walt Disney was once asked, “How does it feel to be a celebrity?” This was his answer: “It feels fine when it helps to get a good seat for a football game. But it never helped me to make a good film, or a good shot in a polo game, or command the obedience of my daughter.” “It doesn’t even seem to keep fleas off our dogs – and if a celebrity won’t give one an advantage over a couple of fleas, then I guess there can’t be much in being a celebrity after all.”    Disneyland California by Robert Swetz 2011 FAME ISN'T WORTH A FLEA - by Walt Disney

If you have seen the classic Disney movie Song of the South you know the song that inspired the title of this blog. But if you have ever been to Disneyland, not only do you know the song, you know the ride, you know the room on the ride.... There is also a possibility that you are already drenched!!! The ride that I am talking about is none other then Splash Mountain!!!  One of my favorite rides in the whole park, perfect ride to cool down on once the weather is hot, and at night if you are on the ride during the fireworks you have a brief yet fantastic view. Right Splash Mountain is currently closed down for refurbishment but in the next few weeks I am sure it will be re-opening to kick off those busy summer months.
