The joy that "Disney" brings to our lives!    "Walt Disney" had a Vision & Dream many, many years ago when he was standing on the bluff in Anaheim California looking over hundreds & thousands of Orange trees.  Walt wanted to make a "Happy" place for families to go and have fun and bond together.  Well the rest is history and here are several photographs of where "Disney Land" all started in Southern California.      And I don't know who could ever go to a "Disney" Park anywhere in the World and not have a wonderful time!    This post is for you "Walt Disney" and thanks for all the joy you have brought to Families & Children around the World!     Post & Pics by Robert Swetz - 6-28-2010     Disneyland® Theme Park Tickets | Disneyland® Resort

CASH OFFER DOES NOT MEAN IT WILL ALWAYS GET ACCEPTED   Cash is King as the saying goes. However, this is not to say that it always remain that way. Sometimes, a King can be dethroned (aka Lebron, GO LAKERS!). I had a situation recently where the buyer indicated that since he was putting cash down to make the purchase without any financing contingency, the seller will always accept his offer. I informed him that it is contrary to the fact. Every situation is unique and unless you are coming in fairly strong on your purchase offer, having cash alone will not make you the first choice all the time. We submitted an offer 20k below the asking price and the buyer was very confident his offer will be the winning bid. I informed him that doing so may ruin his chance of an acceptance as the ot...

"Good Night" from Disneyland and Sherry's meeting with Mickey Mouse    I wanted to share this precious moment with everyone because it is not easy meeting this very "Famous" individual.  We waited in a line of hundreds of fans that wanted photographs and autographs from Mickey Mouse.  Here are some wonderful photos of Mickey, Sherry & Nu Nu and Sherry was so excited to meet Mickey. We asked her several times if she wanted to meet Mickey and she jumped up & down and said yes, yes oh please yes and here are the results.      Sometimes we take such little things for granted, like meeting Mickey! Sherry never thought in a million years she would ever meet Mickey and all we had to do was go to Disneyland and wait in line.  She will never forget this moment in time when a little girls wish ...

Some "Friday Funnies" ..... Video by Robert Swetz (Vegas Bob) - All rights reserved 5-31-2010 -- This Video was shot for one of my friends named Rob because he was picking on me one day because I pulled a Pooh wallet out of my pocket that I have been keeping for our daughter Sherry when she arrived in America ... Nu Nu purchased the Pooh wallet that I carry in my pocket for Sherry, and I took it until she finally was able to come to America which took around 6 years before Sherry was able to come to America ... By the way Winnie the Pooh was asking where my friend Rob was!

Robert, Nu Nu & Sherry enjoying the first day of Sherry's arrival in the United States of America, with a ride on the Roller Coaster at "Disneyland" in California .... Sherry is still talking about all the (FUN) she had with her mother & father in "Disneyland" --- They do not have these types of Amusement Parks in Myanmar (Burma) and so this was very exciting for Sherry, Nu Nu and Robert .... Nu Nu and I have embedded a great memory in the head of our daughter Sherry instead of some of the pain & suffering that goes on in Myanmar .... Video taken by Robert Swetz in California - 5-31-2010 - All rights reserved - (Please note) Robert did not use a swear word in the Video, but almost slipped ... way to much excitement ..............

Nu Nu & Sherry in Disneyland 6-1-2010 Vegas Bob, Nu Nu & Sherry spend a FUN day at Disneyland in California ... Sherry's first day in the United States of America was spent in Disneyland in California and believe me she loved every minute of it. VB was getting tired because he had to drive 5 hours to Las Vegas from Los Angeles and get up for work the next day at 4:30 am. And so Robert asked Sherry several times if she wanted to go home and she said no, so we stayed until 9:30pm and was I tired the next day. Here are just a few photographs of Nu Nu & Sherry having fun in Disneyland ...      Alice in wonderland, Sherry, Nu Nu & the "Mad Hatter"      I took hundreds of photographs at Disneyland in Southern California and I will be posting more later in the week!    All photographs taken ...

Our very own beloved Disneyland Hotel is going to undergo some major changes!           Patrons  will be able to splash and play  in water slides that look like Monorails, eat and drink in a new Polynesian-themed restaurant area and sleep in newly themed towers when renovations are completed at the Disneyland Hotel. Disney has announced major plans to remodel both  the pool and outside areas of the classic Disneyland Hotel. Construction is expected to begin in August.   Some of the planned changes are a  new water play area and dining locations. These are planned  to be finished in summer 2011, and some of the other sections will be completed the following year in 2012. As with all changes, some of the old will have to go, to make room for the new.  Such as:  the Koi pond, the waterfa...

Another Case For Good Investment Property Insurance   A recent lawsuit, Koepnick v. Kashiwa Fudosan America, Inc. (2009) 173 Cal.App.4th 32, 92 Cal.Rptr.3d 453, is really important to investment property owners when considering their own insurance. In the case, the judge found the building owner 100% responsible for damages to a person who suffered injury within the building elevator. Even though the building elevator was independently contracted out for service, the ruling leaves the burden of responsibility on the shoulders of the property owner. The bottom line is that YOU, the property owner, are responsible for your property and everything that happens on it; regardless of who you contract it's management to, so take precautions and get appropriate insurance. Good insurance, includ...
