Remember a "short" two years ago the word REO (real estate owned) was the buzz word.  It still is, but short sales are climbing into the spotlight more and more.  The average Joe homeowner has actually heard of the word but may not know what it means.  As soon as they become distressed on trying to make their mortgage payment that just went up $500-$1000 a month, some will reach out to educate themselves. Ummmm so what does it mean in a nutshell? a homeowner owes more on his/her mortgage than what the home can sell for at today's market value.  They put the home on the market to sell with an experienced Short Sale Realtor and an agent who has educated themselves in the process, such as a Certified Distressed Property Expert.  An offer is presented, the seller accepts, and then off to th...

Create your OWN Stimulus Package Today the FED's support for MBS (Mortgage Backed Securities) ended. Bonds drooped a bit, but the future is bright. How can you create your OWN stimulus package and purchase more home with the same budget? How can you SELL your home faster for the best possible price? Remember the CHALLENGES we all face simply depend on how we face them! I want you to SOAR with the Eagles and use strategy for the best possible outcome either purchasing your next home or selling your current home and moving up. See how you can CREATE your own stimulus package even without the FED's help. Have a great evening!

Terrific Thursday evening to all, Good news the BEARS found the honey I hid on W-St. We did recover this afternoon from this morning's drop.  GDP is due out tomorrow..............my thoughts are GDP will most likely be positive...............meaning another wild ride with bonds. Rate Guard Update Yes I have sent out several quick updates yesterday and today...........that to alert as we are in un-charted waters with the FED out of MBS purchases in a few days. Also it's not a bad idea to check clients for qualifying if they were tight ratio wise before yesterday's drop. Positive thoughts we open UP tomorrow! Have a great evening!
