The More Sleep, Water & Healthy Food I Eat, the More My Body Craves by Michelle Carr Crowe. Silicon Valley real estate agent I wrote an update 2 weeks ago just to help remind myself to post a blog by the upcoming March 4, 2013 deadline as the midpoint for this "Get Healthy in the Rain" contest. Since writing that post 2 weeks ago, I've focused on increasing my sleep, water and fruit and veggie intake. Getting more sleep and rest--I'm focusing on getting at least 8 hours a night. I'm still amazed that the more sleep I try to get, the more my body wants. It's probably trying to stock up, afraid I'm going to force it to get by on 3-4 hours a night sequentially again. Carol of Lights Festival - Downtown Campbell - CanceledThe Carol of Lights Festival is an annual tradition in Downtown Campbell during the holiday season. The event typically takes place in December. The event is sure fun for the entire family. In addition to pony rides and a petting zoo, there bounce houses, entertainment, snow, and of course, Santa Claus. The Carol of Lights Festival is made possible by community donations, sponsorships, recycling and many volunteers.The 2012 holiday season kickoff in downtown Campbell was scheduled for Saturday, December 1, 2012.      Have you ever had trouble saying “NO” when asked to do something that you know in, in your heart, will really over fill your plate? I know right, a very silly question to ask of anyone, especially something you would like to see happen and knowing how much fun can be had or the importance it holds.    I went out on a limb and said yes to something I should have rejected immediately knowing there were several other  candidates who could pull it together on such short notice. It’s an informal holiday get together for some drinks at a local establishment, nothing fancy by any means.
