CAPITOLA NEIGHBORHOODS - CLIFFWOOD HEIGHTS Capitola many great neighborhoods, including the Cliffwood Heights area.  The Cliffwood Heights neighborhood is located between New Brighton State Beach and Capitola Village, it is bordered by Park Avenue and Monterey Avenue.  The Cliffwood Heights neighborhood in Capitola is mostly made up of single family homes.  It has a suburban feel with wide, quiet streets lined with trees.  Most homes in Cliffwood Heights were built in the 1960's and 70's on the site of the old Capitola airport. CAPITOLA HOMES SALES - REAL ESTATE MARKET REPORT SUMMER 2010 Capitola, CA saw one of our foggiest summers ever in 2010.  I wonder if that affected home sales?  Capitola is a quintessential beach town located in Santa Cruz County.  It is a small community that probably doubles in the summertime with the influx of tourists.  Capitola has very moderate weather thanks to natures air conditioning - the coastal fog.  Many homes are owned as second homes or vacation homes in Capitola and the number of homes sold tends to be a little higher in the summertime.
