Pillars of God In The San Bernardino Wilderness

A cultural and historic feature, the Pillars of God, is a temple built by one man, A.K Mozumdar, who was a spiritual teacher with a dream of building a temple where people of all religious faiths could come together and worship. Construction of the temple began with an adjoining camp, but never actually completed before his death. A.K Mozumdar's friend and architect, William P. Lodge designed the temple. While it was never completed because of A.K.'s death, there is a drawing of how the interior was to be finished. Beautiful murals were to be completed throughout the temple depicting the life of Jesus. When A.K. Mozumdar was teaching, you could always find large crowds present at the camp.
