Cupertino Teen Cyclist Hit,Killed by Big Rig Going to Monta Vista High by Michelle Carr Crowe Tragedy hit home in the city of Cupertino, Calif. this morning when a 15-year-old bicyclist riding to Monta Vista High School was hit and killed by a big rig truck. The teenager's identity has not yet been released. The trucker is cooperating with the investigation. My heart and sympathy go out to the friends and family of both the youth and the trucker. I hope and pray a safe and wise solution is generated to prevent any future tragedies of our children.
