                                                                      Sam Shueh I drove by backside of the Apple 2 Spaceship on Homestead Ave. I was not aware the spaceship is that close to both Homestead and Wolf Roads. Tantau Street- I believe it is closed for now. The four-story building is shaped like a donut and clad in glass on both the inside and outside of the ring. It is over a mile in circumference and, when complete, will contain over 3.8 miles of curved glass - or more than 3,000 curved panes. One will get plenty of walking go around and around initially. Apple 2 campus chief architect is Norman Foster. He translates Steve Jobs vision and put it into practice. It will cost Apple stock shareowners $5,000,000,000.00 when completed.  It is slated to open by the end of this year...

                                                                 Sam Shueh I worked next door at Stevens Creek Blvd and Torre Ave in Cupertino, CA for several years. The office used to share the building with a local bank and a title company. Sometime ago, I saw the building was surrounded with sheriffs. One could not leave or enter the building.   Next day, some residents said to me do you know what happened at the bank yesterday? No.  Someone used a toy gun and got away with a brown bag of cash. That was in the midst of a Great Recession. Robberies were on the rise and I did not think almighty America economy crumbled. Guess Where Robert Vegas Bob Swetz is headed?Robert Swetz has been brainstorming whether he will be going back down the the Lower 48 and he has made up his mind.Within the next 1-2 weeks Vegas Bob will be flying down to Las Vegas and then driving out the the Bay Area.Robert is not stating why exactly or where he is headed so you will have to look at the two photographs attached to this post and try to figure it out.I am lined up for my destination and very excited about going, and my only draw back is leaving the Last Frontier after it's been warming up so nice.

It is often referred to as the "spaceship" campus due to its donut-shaped design. Encompassing 2.8 million square feet and spanning about 176 acres, construction on the campus started in 2013 with a completion date set for late 2016. Well, congratulations to Apple, Inc. which turns 40 today, you have turned into an incredibly successful company.  Growing up and living in the Bay Area, I have seen Apple grow and be part of the high tech boom which dominates the area.  I know quite a few people who work there, or have worked there in the past.  My current next door neighbor works there, and mentioned to me that he walked by a new employee orientation the other day (held once a month) and there were about 150 in attendance.  Apple is now building their new Headquarters which is near their curret one.  People actually make a pilgrimage to the HQ to have their picture taken in front of it.  Amazing corporate loyalty from its customer base. Here is one of my favorite TV commercials, although I usually loathe TV commercial...

Nothing can 'Brainwash' me into Downloading Apps to my SmartphoneI haven't watched regular television, news, etc in around 15+ years now.
