  SOLD by JILL MURTY Ocean View Condo in Dana Point  What a terrific ocean view condo property!  Ocean view from multiple areas in this neat condo, walking distance for most people to Dana Point Harbor, shops, restaurants and the beach.  This should have been a smooth transaction, but the buyer side was really pathetic.  We had cause to throw them out of the transaction on multiple occasions, but the nice seller decided to stick it out to the end.  The buyer's agent paid the seller's carrying costs for the 30+ days they were late closing.When I informed the seller that escrow was closed, her response was "Yea!!!!! Home Prices in Dana Point California for March 2017If you notice on the chart, the home prices in Dana Point, California made a turn upward this month.  The City Council will hold a joint workshop with the Planning Commission to discuss parking policies for the city and the Lantern District of Dana Point.In January, members of the public spoke in regards to concerns they had about commercial area customers and parking into residential neighborhoods from the Lantern District. March 5-6, 12-13 2016Dana Point Festival Of Whales It's spring time and the California gray whales are heading back north. They spend each winter basking in the warm waters off Baja, Mexico. Now the whales and their calves will swim past Southern California on their way back home for the summer months.Each year, Dana Point celebrates this passing with the Festival of Whales. For 2016, the two weekends are March 5-6 and March 12-13. There are whale themed events for all ages, with a concert, craft show and art shows.
