El Dorado Hills Market Report - February 2013 Looking at just the number of sold homes in El Dorado Hills over the past 8 years they don't look very different from month to month.  But this El Dorado Hills Market Report looks at the homes for sale as well and tells a much different story.  Six years ago the inventory of homes for sale were at peak levels as home prices were starting to decline.  Buyers quit buying because of the declining values and uncertainty.   Today inventory in El Dorado Hills is the lowest it has been in over 11 years, merely 1/6th of the number of homes that were for sale during the peak months of 2007.  The low number of home sales today are a result of our lack of inventory.  Buyers are out there but they can't find anything to buy specifically in the lower pri... 02/09/2013

Christmas Tree Pick-Up - El Dorado Hills   Boy Scout Troop 645 will be doing their annual fundraiser Christmas Tree Pick-up for El Dorado Hills on Saturday, January 5th, 2013. They will be driving through El Dorado Hills neighborhoods and all you need to do is leave your tree at the curb for pick up. Make sure to remove all the lights, tinsel, and ornaments of course! In return they are looking for donations (as a suggestion $10 and up). Hang your check on your front door made out to Boy Scout Troop 645.   Donations are used for scout camp and troop supplies throughout the year.  El Dorado Hills Santa Run   The Grand Finale of El Dorado Hills 49th Annual Santa Run is tomorrow night, Saturday, December 16th!  El Dorado Hills Fire Department will be escorting Santa, Mrs. Claus, and some of Santa's Elves on a parade around El Dorado Hills' Town Center starting at 6pm. Santa's elves will be collecting unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots and canned goods for the El Dorado County Food Bank.       Due to budget constraints there will be no fireworks this year but still a fun time in case you missed the Santa Run through El Dorado Hills neighborhoods this year.   Click here to see the Parade Route. Shine for Shane   Shane Rogers is a courageous 8 year old boy that was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in July '12. He and his family live in El Dorado Hills where he is a 3rd grader. This will be a long 3 year battle for Shane and his family.
