 I Stripped It Off, Now What? It took some time but I was able to strip the fencing of all the stain and sealers that accumulated of the years. With this bare surface, it is now time to get it covered in a consistent stain and protected from the elements. That will be a decision made by someone else. All in all it was a good year for El Dorado Hills in the terms of buying and selling homes with a total of 754 Single Family Home sales!  Here is a breakdown for the 2014 Highs and Lows for El Dorado Hills Real Estate.  The highest selling home was 100 Rock Lane. It was truly an estate built in 1985 on 10.36 acres with 270 degree views of Folsom Lake, a pool, tennis court, koi ponds, an orchard, and photovoltaic solar power.  It had 5 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, 7 full and 2 half baths! Lowest Selling Home:  $212,000 (2 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1122 sq. feet) Highest Selling Home:  $2,750,000 (7 bedrooms, 9 baths, 9804 sq. feet)  Average Selling Price:  $593,822 (average of 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2973 sq. feet) The highest selling price month was April and June when the homes sold at an average of $627,000.  The lowest selling price month was October and November when they sold at an average of $550,000.  To date for this month they are selling at an average of $553,000. It's pretty hard to beat fall in El Dorado Hills!  Summers here can be hot but fall temperatures and our beautiful fall colors are amazing.  Fall has definitely earned its title as favorite season in my book.    View from Highland View    Chinese Pistache and Maples show off  gorgeous orange and red colors!    Maples and Liquid Ambers   Toyons are native plants so look for them with their beautiful berries throughout our hills!   Sycamore's yellow fall colors add to our red and orange displays!    Before you know it the branches will be bare but right now El Dorado Hills is pretty hard to beat!   11/09/2014
