GRANADA HILLS SOUTH NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL TO SPONSOR TRAINING FOR EMERGENCIESIn May of 2001 the City of Los Angeles adopted a plan to establish neighborhood councils throughout the city as a method for the people of the city to have an easier and more direct way to provide input about local issues to the city's elected representatives. Since then a number of Neighborhood Councils have been established throughout the city to provide a forum for local community members to express their concerns.Granada Hills has two Neighborhood Councils, one for the northern part of Granada Hills and the other for the southern part.
