Hollywood one of the  Tourist Mecca's of the greater Los Angeles area. Today as many other times,, I was rushing late to a showing. As it turns out, the quickest way to the appointment required me to go right through the middle of Hollywood. Now keep in mind not just Hollywood but the epicenter of the Tourist Mecca. Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave.Needless to say I thought you would enjoy this picture as I sat in heavy Tourist Traffic. The good news was, once I went past the next two block traffic opened up.Now on the way back things were different, there was a function at the Hollywood Bowl, more heavy traffic. Followed by there was some movie premier on Hollywood Blvd because the road was closed and I saw lots of Traffic Control vehicles trying to direct traffic.Anyway no big deal jus...

Try Not To Confuse The Meaning of Space Clearing With De clutteringI recently wrote a blog post explaining What a Space Clearing. There were beautiful comments and short stories but I did notice some have confused Space Clearing with the physical action of de cluttering. Take out the physical discussion out of the conversation and just talk energy work, also known as metaphysical science. In essence you are working with the "unseen"world, which could also be refereed to as Spirit or source, or really any term that relates to the practice of faith you follow.  As shared in my previous post the art of Space Clearing has been practiced in ancient India, Egypt, China, Japan and in every native culture around the world since the beginning of time.  Space Clearing is not de cluttering. The 87th Academy Awards will be held this February 22nd,2015 at the Dolby Theater. Posted on Jan 27, 2015 by Endre Barath  The 87th Academy Awards will be held this February 22nd, 2015 at the Dolby Theater. The Proper name is “The Academy Awards of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences”. Most people know it as the “Oscars”. Every year Hollywood gets together and there is fierce campaigning in the background by actors, directors and all involved. The votes are already in and the predictions are hot and heavy. Some make a living of the guessing as to who shall win which award. It reminds me of the political elections, hard aggressive campaigning does not always guarantee that the right person got the award or in politics the position. Just like in politics people vote without doing their rese...

Walking In The Hollywood Hood!    Yesterday was such fun! I spent the afternoon/evening on Hollywood Blvd. I've walked along Hollywood Blvd many times in my life. I went to college out of state and when I had visitors, it was always on the list. Rodeo DriveSanta MonicaDisneylandSunset BlvdMalibuHollywood Yesterday was the first time I was there with locals, and it was really fun. I was not giving a tour, I was just enjoying the walk.  Walking down Hollywood Blvd can be a little stressful, if you are on guard. You are constantly accosted by tour offers, map-of-the-star offers, costumed strangers getting in your face and my personal favorite....the evangelists with bull horns. When I take guests, I'm in charge....I feel a need to protect them from possible purse snatchers and just general...

Former home of Bela Lugosi and Frank Sinatra is for sale!   This newly remodeled 4,200-square-foot home in the Hollywood Hills has been home to many different celebrities for almost 100 years.  In 1931, Bela Lugosi, famous for playing the original “Count Dracula”, purchased the home. Ten years later, in the 1940’s Martha O’Driscoll, coincidentally also known for a Dracula movie, “House of Dracula”, moved into the home. She sold it in 1950 to Frank Sinatra shortly after his marriage to Ava Gardner who made it their first home together. See more homes for sale in Hollywood Hills. Located in the gated community of Outpost Estates, the home has just been remodeled and neighbors with residents just as famous as the past owners, Charlize Theron, Salma Hayek, and Ben Stiller to name a few.   Meryl Streep discounts her updated midcentury in Hollywood Hills    As homeowners (and their Realtors) in the Greater Los Angeles area can attest, selling a house is as much about timing and pricing as it is about location. Case in point being Meryl Streep, who has discounted her updated midcentury modern home in Hollywood Hills West. More home for sale close to this property. The Academy Award-winning actress had lofty expectations in April, when she listed the Honnold & Rex-designed home for sale at $6.75 million. Since then, however, the 1954 Research House has seen two price adjustments; the latest of which, recorded in the Multiple Listing Service on May 31st, has dropped the ask to $5.25 million. How long does it take to build on a vacant lot in Los Angeles, CA? Often times this question comes up either by the potential buyers who are considering building in Los Angeles, CA. Other times if they do not ask me this question, because they are not from the area and they presume that building is just like from where they came from. Then I bring it into the conversation, because I know that they could be from the east coast of the United States, or they could be from Europe, Asia or the Middle East and the building restrictions are totally different than in the Greater Los Angeles area. Needless to say, the answer to this question depends on a multitude of factors. Specifically the times could be varied a great deal:  Approval time for building could take anywhere from 8 months and ev...

Videos By Vegas Bob               Tuesday, December 31, 2013 Hollywood - Hawaii - Lake Tahoe - Robert Vegas Bob Swetz 12-31-2013    Robert Vegas Bob Swetz has some HUGE plains coming up in the year 2014.  Here are just several of VB's plans for 2014 ... VB will be purchasing either some vacant land to build a home in the "Hollywood Hills" or purchasing a home close to Hollywood. VB is planning on producing & directing several movies in the near future, so what better place to do it than in Hollywood California.  Another one of VB's plans for 2014 is to purchase some vacant land in Hawaii or purchase a home on the ocean shoreline. The reason for this dream come true would be for a get away for VB, to get away  from all the hustle & bustle of the fast lanes in the major cities in the Uni...
