Both the Irvine and Tustin Unified School Districts are renown in Orange County for their top-of-the-line academic programs, though they boast talent beyond the classroom.  Beckman High School has its own version of the von Trapps, at least until they graduate.  This family may not sing, but its 67 members have plucked, scraped, and stroked their way to fame.  Becksman's string orchestra will retrace the footsteps of the von Trapps for a fourth time as they perform at the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York City on April 26.
