Irvine Touted as America's Safest City

According to recent FBI statistics released on Monday June 4th, 2007, the City of Irvine was once again named the safest city in America, compared to other cities that had a population of 100,000 or more. Irvine has held that title now for three straight years in a row. According to the study, Irvine had a 6% reduction in total crimes in 2006 compared to 2005, as well as a 17% decrease in violent crimes. As you can see, I'm very proud of my city... safety is definitely one of the reasons why I live here, along with the variety of cultures, business opportunities, educational opportunities, and of course, fantastic real estate!
