La Habra, CA 90631  home sale report for November 2008 ~ Single family and condo sales in La Habra declined in November as compared to the prior month.  This marketing report will give you an overview of the real estate market as compared to prior months  in La Habra for both single family homes and condominium sales.    Single family homes range in price from $157,000 to $1,675,000, although only 4 were priced over $1,000,000.00 (exactly the same as last month). 153 homes were for sale, compared to /180/129/149/153/182/216 prior months.   19  pending sales in escrow during the month, down about 1/2 from last month at 34 and compared to prior months of 24/18/25/34/37 prior months. 30 homes closed November, down slightly from 35 last month and compared to 32/27/14/25/26 prior months.   $...

We are constantly working with buyers and have found an important first step (maybe second to getting an loan approval).  Neighborhoods - buyers need to do some homework. La Habra foreclosure sales and bank repos in Orange County, CA. Condo prices hit hardest in the city. Numbers are almost idential for the past two months. La Habra like other communities in SoCal has it's share of home foreclosures. Compared to some of the other surrounding communities it appears the number of foreclosures sales combined with short-sales is somewhat higher than surrounding communities. La Habra currently has about 175 single family homes for sale, the inventory is up about 20%  from the prior month. Of that number there are 21 bank repos currently for sale now that represents just over 12% of the inventory, exacty the same as last month. The Orange County City of La Habra is located on the Northern boundaries of Orange and L.A. counties. It's a community of primarily single family homes built from the 1960's forward. City  population is around 65,000 residents.  La Habra is known for many things, one of our favorites is the famous Children's Museum  (pictured below) on Euclid in the heart of the city. The mission style building was completed in 1920's as the Union Pacific depot, It was later donated to the City of La Habra in1956. The City of La Habra is well known for its famous Children's Museum. I've written about it several times myself, it's such a fun place. And now, the newest exhibit spotlighting every day heroes is no exception. Pint size visitors have the opportunity to get up close and  try-on costumes of fire fighters and police officers to name a few.  The objective of this exhibit is for the kids to experience first hand the merits of being a public servant, learning the values of providing to others. This hands-on exhibit has transformed this gallery into a mini-city with kiddie police cars and to "drive" around town. This special exhibit just opened and runs through June 8th.
