Home Prices in Laguna Beach California for March 2017If you notice on the chart, the home prices in Laguna Beach, California made a turn downward this month. By no means does that mean prices are going down! That just means there are not a whole lot of  listings currently available in Laguna Beach. As you can see from the median sold price (the green line) that number is still steadily going up! We can expect to see the real estate market in Laguna Beach to continue to follow this trend through out the summer months. If you are thinking about buying in Laguna Beach, there are still deals to be had! It is just vitally important to work with a great real estate professional that knows what the market is doing, and someone that is going to prepare you to be the strongest buyer possible in ...

Pretty nice way to start the year off right, don't you think? Warm coffee on a cool, sunny day in Laguna Beach. While I was not the party-animal last night....I did sleep in a bit this morning and woke to the sun shining brightly into my room. After a cup of coffee on the deck, I headed down to Laguna to walk a bit. This is one of my favorite places to stop and reflect. So I did that. The thing I love most about the ocean crashing on the rocks is that even though it is always changing...never makes the same pattern in the water twice...it's also timeless. This spot will be here long after I'm gone....and I like the perspective this gives me. I hope you all have a healthy and prosperous New Year!

Laguna Beach one of the most Beautiful Coastlines in the World Well this is the 2nd time that Thomas has rolled around to leave a comment to one of Vegas Bob's posts at the ActiveRain network about how much he loves Laguna Beach. So I have written a special post with 2 great videos, photographs and a actual comment Thomas left at a older post I wrote about the beauty of Laguna Beach in California.  Robert Vegas Bob Swetz has viewed hundreds of beaches around the world and the beaches of Hawaii are some of the only ones he has not viewed, but now Thomas has and has also stated that Laguna Beach is more beautiful then ones in Hawaii.   Here is what Robert Swetz considers a Beautiful Beach in his eyes ...Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world are beaches that have cliffs, structur...

Crystal Cove Cottages in Laguna Beach CA  Crystal Cove is a state park along the SoCal coast just north of Laguna Beach, and includes the historic Crystal Cove cottage colony. Apart from being a charming look back in the past and a fine place to vist (the Beachcomber Restaurant right on the beach is terrific!), these cottages can be rented during the year.  High demand from regulars might make particular favorites more difficult to rent and reservations fill up quickly.  But I understand there can be some saem day openings at certain times of the year. This seaside colony of cottages was built in the 1930s and 1940s and offer a range of accommodations - some are dorm style. The beach is wonderful, as are the views from the cottages. It's well worth a day trip if you are in the area.

Most people have seen the traditional Russian dolls, but not many know that they are called  "Matryoshka". Even fewer know what the tradition is about. They are known by others as the "Nesting Dolls", because the bigger one you open then there is a smaller one inside and it keeps getting smaller and smaller.Having lived in Europe I have seen them from close up and was always amazed at the intricate painting of each doll.I can still recall walking on Boylston St in Boston and looking into the showcase and was so surprised to see so many different colored Matryoshka Dolls. Always wondered why but then we moved and it was a distant memory.I have heard that the history of these dolls is not that old maybe a 100 plus years. Have you ever seen them? What have you heard? How did it become a Ru...

California Poppy Reserve in the Antelope Valley in CA...A few years ago Diane and I went to the Antelope Valley to see the California Poppy Reserve. The site was virtually indescribable. The Fields were covered with Yellow and Orange as if it was a Carpet that has been rolled out before we arrived.People had pulled their cars on the shoulder and frantically taking pictures. Diane and I were just amazed; we have never seen anything like it. Truly a feast for the eyes. Ever since then every year we were discussing going and couple years later we went and it was a total bust. Virtually no Poppies to see. Then we started tracking it on the Internet, since the Poppy Reserve publishes a blog as to the status of the Poppies and it has been lackluster at best, so we did not go. This year I have ...

Laguna Beach California Under $1,000,000 Ah Laguna Beach, California. What a lovely little beach town. I remember when it was still a sleepy, quiet town filled with artists. I think in many ways it still is. In 1990 I was horrified to think the tiny house next door was listed for $400,000.How could anyone spend that kind of money for that house? It only had 3 bedrooms and was about 1500 sq.ft. ...tiny.Oh the good old days. Now you might ask is there anything available under $1 million in Laguna? A few! See them all here!Laguna Beach Homes for sale under $1,000,000 See all Laguna Beach listings for sale
