Well the news is out...last week our local newspaper made the big announcement that American Idol will be relocating their Idol Summer Camp to Lake Arrowhead. Sunday, March 9th, 2008 Dave Doyle and the Rim of the World High School baseball team hosted boys from ages 5 to 13 for a one day baseball skills clinic at Rim of the World High School baseball facility.  It was a beautiful day and the boys had a blast working with the older boys to build their confidence and skills.  The event is an annual fundraiser for the Rim Baseball team.  Thank you very much to Dave, Rim High and the boys on the baseball team. 03/10/2008

The San Bernardino Mountains has a lot to offer. One of our favorite things to do is take our Jeep out on the trails that are right in our backyard! The trails range from easy to difficult and are well marked. The number of active lakefront listings in Lake Arrowhead has been hovering around 30 homes over the last year or so, with properties currently listed from just under one million dollars to just under ten million dollars.  The median price, right now, for a lakefront home is $2,850,000.  Of the lakefront homes that are now listed, there are a dozen properties under two million dollars and another dozen between two and four million.  Twenty three lakefront homes sold in Lake Arrowhead in 2007, ranging from $667,500 to $6,275,000.  The median sale price of these properties was $1,850,000, averaged 161.7 days on the market and sold for an average of 88.89% of their list prices.  Additionally, just over 1/3 of those 23 homes reduced their list prices before they received an acceptable offer... 03/07/2008
