2 Lawsuits Involving Home Warranty Companies to Be Aware Of   There are two major companies that offer home warranties for clients that are involved in class actions in Southern California. Here are some of the allegations found in both lawsuits: Contractors are chosen based on their average claims and usually only the lowest averaged contractors get repeat business. Encourage the contractors to 'Repair' instead of 'Replace'. Only do the least amount of work and ignore items that are barely functioning. This can sometimes cause risk to the homeowners. If the repair cost is below $500, home warranty companies send out non-licensed contractors in some states.  My NAR GREEN Designation was Issued Today I just took a 3 day course to get my NAR GREEN designation. Every day you sit through 8 hours of classroom study and then take a test at the end of the day for 3 full days. Unfortunately, they do not grade the 3 tests until the company leaves and goes back to their offices in Northern CA. So even after you take it you must wait a l-o-n-g....... 4-5 days to get the results.  Gladly, I got the results yesterday afternoon and was so excited and sent it in to NAR last night. Got the email today that they were processing my paperwork and the designation kit would be sent out in the next two weeks. The Big Hawk on the Lamp Post Today while driving home to Loma Linda, CA, I saw a Red Hawk on the light post. Then this tiny little bird stopped on the post. They both sat there for a minute and then the Hawk flew off. Amazingly enough, the little bird chased after the Hawk.    They both flew into a huge tree and never fly out....... In Memory of Miss Abbigail Potts- You Will be Missed Abby was 12.5 years old and she had had a wonderful life with a large family. Just recently she was diagnosed with an enlarged heart and pancreatitus. After a regimine of 9 pills 2 X daily, she just stopped eating and drinking totally.
