I went out to grab a bite to eat at lunchtime and decided to visit my friendly, neighborhood Chick-fil-A.  As I am sure Jeremy Blanton will whole-heartedly agree with, Chick-fil-A is a fantastic organization with spectacular food.  They believe in serving quality food for great prices, treat their employees well and give back to their community in any way they can.  So, when I got home, sat down and opened my bag of hot deliciousness, I saw this little green piece of paper talking about Military Appreciation Month at Chick-fil-A in Moreno Valley, CA: Every Saturday in May, all military personnel (whether active, reserve or veteran) is welcome to eat for FREE all day long.  They only have to present their military ID.  And, as if that weren't enough, on Saturday, May 29, 2010, the Chick-...

While driving home from dropping my son off at school this morning, I saw this in the sky: Closer view: What the heck is it?  The sun was to the left.  This anomaly in the clouds started out as dark amber on the left, graduated to light gold, then was white and finally grey on the right.  Of course, I just HAD to pull into the car dealership, get out and shoot a photo to share. **These photos were taken by my very own camera and are my property.  However, if you like what you see and want to use them for yourself, please let me know.  I might give my permission, I might not.  I gotta hear the reason first. ;-)** Heather Chavez, Real Estate Virtual Assistant - Second Self Virtual Assistance: When There Isn't Enough of You to Go Around!

For a safe and uplifting alternative to trick or treating on Halloween night, make it a point to com to the Calvary Baptist Church's Hallelujah Harvest in Moreno Valley on Saturday, October 31st, 2009 from 6:30-8:30pm.  There will be carnival games, a bounce house, face painting, trick or treating, lots of candy and more.  And the best part?  It's absolutely FREE to kids and their parents.  Come on down and have some Halloween fun!
