A bill known as the "Housing Opportunity and Mortgage Equity Act of 2010" or HOME Act was introduced on the floor of Congress.  By design it is hoped to slow the expected growing number of foreclosures by providing refinancing options on mortgages held by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac which would lower payments and keep borrowers from becoming a foreclosure statistic.  An additional expected result of the proposed bill is that it can simultaneously stimulate the economy by relieving homeowner stress and provide more discretionary income.   Vegetation in Southern California covers an amazing array of contrasts in color, size, greenery and flowers. It can be very tropical, or from the desert. We see plants more commonly seen in colder climates, and a few things aren't found too many other places, like the Torrey Pine. One of my seller clients has a goregous garden, which is, itself, a study of contrasts. I love the simplicity of the tiny groundcover which is, literally, 5 feet from a huge sago palm (not a real palm). Beauty to behold.   [Note - I have tried repeatedly to upload the contrasting photo but the dreaded proxy error and bad gateway keep appearing. I have edited the photo a couple of times, and tried several different ones but AR refuses to allow it. I give up, for now]

When remodeling your home in Oceanside you need to protect yourself and do some research.  Hiring a contractor in Oceanside is helpful because they know Oceanside bulding codes and ordinances but is no guarantee that they will follow them.  Regardless who you hire it is your responsibility to make sure your home meets the standards.   I recommend that you pull your own permits.  I've heard many a story, " They said they pulled permits" when in fact they didn't.  If the contractor you hire is negligent you can try to sue them but you are ultimately still responsible for your property meeting Oceanside's code requirements.    Many lots in Oceanside are not large enough to accomodate a home expansion unless you adda second floor.  Below is some helpful information on height ordinances for ...
