December, 2010 Home Sales in Orange and Orange Park Acres, California December, 2010 home sales in Orange were up 10% from November closings. At a time of the year when most people expect sales to trail off, the Orange, Ca market continued to pick up. Off from the June peak of 118 closed sales (as the final Escrows closed from the expired First Time Homebuyer's Credit), the December number of closings is the highest in the past four months. There were 90 total closed sales in Orange and Orange Park Acres in December. Of the total, 66 were single family residences.   As of the end of the year 2010, there were 441 properties in active status and 160 total properties in either "Back-up" or "Pending" sale status.
